CONNECTING WITH EMPLOYEES
We treasure highly the views and opinions of our staff, encouraging them at all levels and departments to share their views by means of diversified communication channels. These include the monthly newsletter Connections, the intranet, WeShare on WeChat and other platforms such as breakfast meetings and birthday parties.
To maintaining an effective two-way communication channel, staff briefings are held twice a year. At these sessions, Management elaborates directly to staff on the Company’s achievements, financial results and strategic priorities. In addition, Q&A sessions have proved fruitful in gathering staff opinions.

We conduct programs to promote the physical and mental wellbeing of our staff and encourage them to pursue a healthy work-life balance. We strive to offer a wealth of benefits and activities that reach out to every staff member.
We have held food festivals with a variety of themes and festive menus. Our staff also enjoy the nutritious delicacies provided in the hygienic environment of the staff canteen. On occasions like the staff thankful day, summer solstice and other traditional festivals, the Management presents memorable gifts to staff as a token of appreciation for their contributions.
We have also held weekly badminton sessions, sports contests, “Hang Lung’s Got Talent” shows, annual dinners and health talks, all designed to promote a work-life balance for staff and give them opportunities to showcase their talents.

SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
The Hang Lung As One Volunteer Team has been established at Plaza 66 since 2012, focusing on youth development, elderly services and environmental protection. We provide our staff members with the chance to show care for the community where we are located while also enhancing business value. With the dedication of our staff, we have organized more than 30 activities and have to date contributed a total of 4,000 volunteering hours.

These empower our staff to fulfill their potential and creativity by fostering their skills and performance in the most imaginative and sustainable manner possible.
As part of our orientation program for new recruits, the “Hang Lung Challenge” helps them understand and appreciate the business and culture of the Company and adapt efficiently to the working environment.
Our “Customer Service Program” equips frontline staff with the latest customer service skills and professional knowledge of property management to enable them to provide the highest quality service to our customers.
To cater for the diversified needs of our staff, we provide a series of training programs covering Supervisory Management, Leadership with Impact, Time Management, Just-in-Time Coaching, and team building activities. The e-learning facilities “e-Academy66”also allows staff to study anytime and anywhere.
Apart from in-house training programs, training sponsorships are another effective channel for staff development. We devote our utmost efforts to encouraging and motivating our staff to strive for excellence as well as assisting them to realize their full potential.
