DELOITTE THAILAND
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Jaiyos has been serving clients in Thailand for over 80 years. We have grown to over 50 partners and more than 1,400 professionals today. Our success journey started from a sole proprietorship, advancing to be a part of a global network providing full professional services, spanning audit, tax, legal, accounting, consulting, financial and risk advisory.

EMPLOYER OF CHOICE
We aim to be an employer of choice and our people are our priority. Starting with recruiting the right people, we attract both fresh graduates and experienced hires. The Campus Roadshow and Open House are key recruitment activities for new graduates. The Deloitte Ambassador is our initiative to set up a group of students to represent Deloitte in universities. Our Internship program and student scholarships are a fast track program for 3rd year students to experience the profession and prepare them to join us after graduation.

Our people practices are demonstrated in many ways such as our firm value proposition, our learning journey (life-long learning), our care and share culture and our workplace to build staff’s engagement. Staff engagement for Deloitte is driven from top management. Our frequent leadership messages convey our firm’s strategic direction and priorities through many channels, including our staff casual meetings the Alliance@Deloitte. Other communication channels include Deloitte D-Day, functional strategy meetings and team meetings. We also encourage staff to expand their business networks with ex-staffs by holding Deloitte Alumni events and Client Forums.

We have developed extensive and intensive development programs for our people. We not only have programs that develop technical and professional skills, but industry programs with infusion of innovation, digital technology and the impact and implications of today’s business needs and disruptions to enable them to identify and apply their knowledge to our clients’ situations. We are also changing the way our people deliver services, through the use of Delivery Centers, Centers of Excellence, Specialized Software Platforms, expanded Ecosystems, Data Analytics and AI.

Our Deloitte People Network is an efficient platform to connect our people to the experts to learn and share best practices. Our learning curriculums are designed to enable our people to obtain the relevant and practical experiences of learning for their level. Our unique Deloitte University facilities located in the US, Europe and Singapore are considered “best in class” for leadership development programs focusing on experiential learning.

Practical, on-the-job work exposures allow our people to learn from diverse assignments with multi-disciplinary groups of people within Deloitte. Our mobility programs are designed to fit with individual interest of either short or long term mobility in SEA countries, Japan, Australia, US and UK where Deloitte have footprints. There are 10 to 20 successful mobility assignments, either inbound or outbound, to/from Thailand under this program every year. Annually, we support up to 10 of our people to obtain higher education in Master’s degree and sponsor them through our scholarship program.

CARE AND SHARE
We strive to ensure that our people have a right balance of career and personal life. We have “an open door policy” which provides opportunities for staff to talk to their Coaches, Supervisors or Partners. We have implemented flexible and virtual work arrangements as alternative solutions so our people can integrate their work and life aspirations.

We celebrate our success through team meetings, functional meetings or simplest way of saying “Thank You” to each other. This helps to promote work collaboration and build team spirit. We reward employees through customized compensation and benefit programs. Our “iCafé” program allows staff to pick and choose their own benefit’s menu. Our compensation management process, bonus and salary increment is linked with staff’s performance which is managed through a systematic performance management process called “Reinventing Performance Management” (or RPM).

Our wellness programs are applicable for everyone at Deloitte. Pre-employment checkup, annual medical checkup and medical insurance are contracted with a leading hospital and insurer. We have fun activities for our people to network with people from other functions such as the New Year@Deloitte, Retreat@ Deloitte and Impact Day, which is a specific event for our people and our firm to contribute to communities and society.

Since our people are 60% “new generation” we have open mobile workspaces. Our people can sit and plug-in anywhere in the office. Our office is a certified “LEED Gold building” to ensure our people have the best work environment. The EATARY is our employee lounge to meet and lunch together and to enjoy ice cream and coffee.
