Iron Mountain Thailand was established in 1996 as a market leader in the Security Information Management Business in Thailand which is located in three gateway locations with its headquarters in Samutprakan province.
As the market in Thailand expands, the company needs the collaboration of talents from various backgrounds to act as a team to develop suitable and value-added solutions for our business-partners. In order to meet the demands of the growing market, we recently focused in the Financial and Banking industry by launching the Information Cheque System Center or known as “ICMC” to provide Cheque reconciliation. We also focused on B2C market by launching Mountain Safe to provide safe lockers to protect personal assets.
BUILD A SAFETY CULTURE
To be the great guardian of business-partners’ assets, we must inculcate a culture of safety. We emphasize on implementing the safety program monthly to build a Culture of Safety throughout the organization. We commit to make a personal commitment in both living and working safely and achieve our goal of a “Zero Incident Philosophy” by starting from ourselves, then spreading to our teammates which it will result in customer’s information asset securely protected. This program focuses on personnel commitment to safety and reinforces it as a core value and essential part of how we live our lives each day. The name says it all – 24 hours a day and 7 days a week we all need to stay safe at work, in transit and at home.
Team building programs are opened to all members of Iron Mountain Thailand. Each year, we organize team-building activities that include work safety awareness and building teamwork through effective communications. By participating in these activities, everyone can develop positive attitudes of pride and loyalty as an important member of Iron Mountain Thailand. We believe that everyone’s engagement, no matter how small, is important towards helping the company achieve its goal. At the management level, we believe that team engagement is important to business success which is based on trust, integrity, two-way commitment and communications between the organization and its members.
TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Iron Mountain Thailand has received numerous accolades for products and service excellence as well as its community contribution over the years. These recognitions proved the success of our continuing efforts and commitment. We have invested in various courses and trainings that were aimed at improving the supervisory skills, accountability and innovative intrapreneurship both inside and outside the organization. We believe it is essential to develop our people at every stage of their careers. This program sharpens the leadership and management skills of our people who will be rewarded based on team performance. Through development trainings, our purpose is to empower people and understand their responsibility as a leader. We are certain that effective leaders will lead the teams to success to deliver value to customers.
Each year, at Iron Mountain Thailand, we have Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities to raise awareness about giving back to the society and the environment. Not only that, but by joining the activity, every employee will learn how to live together and contribute to the society which leads to a positive cooperate image. One year, we contributed to mangrove forest planting where every one of us went to protect our ecosystem with our two small hands. Sitting and working in the office 5-6 days per week might make us forget about the ecosystem theory we learned in middle school. As the management, we wish our team members to relax and enjoy nature through this program.
Another significant CSR activity was a project in Northern Thailand where we helped build a resource library, painted colourful classrooms and cleaned the school canteen. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children is worth the sweat and the effort.
